Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
This must be the laziest fucking West Ham team in the club's history.

Ayew and Payet smoking Hamlet's every time the ball is lost; Masuaku strolling back into position after a failed attack; Ogbonna watching the ball like it's Carlton Cole's penis. Billic admitting training is a dosser's club.

No wonder these fucking hard Northern cunts like Hull and Burnley are putting us under so much pressure - because they are hard working lads not a bunch of prima donnas.

Still reckon somebody like Curbs would FUCKING boil that melon head Ayew and put a firework up Payet's crack.

Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
I would play Ayew instead of Carroll, if Bilic is to persist with this formation.

If you want to change the formation then you could probably create a few great sides given the various combinations of different types of players we have. You could make a solid 4-4-2. A comfortable 4-1-4-1, 3-5-2 or 4-3-3.

The 3-6-1 is going to fall apart during the African Nations.

He's only has four games before he goes of to the ANC, so do we drop Lanzini for those games and then bring him back? I say put him in for the next couple then bring Lanzini back v Man U. Make Lanzini fight for his spot

I'd prefer NORDVEIDT and ZAZA over Ayew.

Watching Andy CARROLL playing right back to cover this prick is one of the most ridiculous things I've seen in 30 odd years of watching us.

Big Andy must want to chin Ayew. The little fucker screaming orders, but doing fuck all tracking back.

I agree ayew for lanzini

Lanzini hasn't done much this season. I'd give Ayew a run, especially against Swansea.

Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
Yes, he seems a lazy cunt, not one to track back.

He'd have to play off a front man, Carroll, Sakho or maybe even Antonio.

Now if we play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 I wonder if Lanzini could take Noble's place? Quicker in mind and body and should be able to speed up the tempo of our play.

Playing Ayew, Lanzini and Payet could leave us too much of a lightweight outfit though.

Christ can we really afford another player who doesn't work hard in the team

Have to be the laziest bunch of fuckers ever to play for West Ham

We know how players love to score against their old clubs, Ayew has to start against Swansea just as Fletcher did v Man Utd

Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
Agreed. I like Lanzini, but 1 big game in 6 simply doesn't cut the mastard. He needs to man up a bit, stop griing like a fucking cheshire cat and sitting on the deck half the game. He IS a luxury player.

Baggins 2:05 Sun Dec 18
Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
I loved him yesterday ordering people around and then NOT tracking the player he was supposed to be covering.

And also not realising/caring that it might just be a better idea for him to be defending on the right side rather than our 6ft 4 lump of a central striker.

Good work, Andre, son.

Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
What also has to be asked and its as obvious a problem as no right back or forward cover, why can't we press teams effectively and why do we struggle when being pressed which results in giving the ball away or turning backwards or sideways before going back to the keeper who punts it up field and inevitably give possession back to the opposition !

It becomes very apparent at home where the onus is on us to attack and its why we look better away from a footballing perspective. We prefer to play on the counter and defend deep. Leroy's column on Claret and Spew has made the same point. I

The reason is down to a few things probably. Fitness and stamina, types of midfield options in the squad who not hard working enough as a unit in midfield especially when Payet and Lanzini/Ayew in the same line up, lots of wide players, no defensive midfielder other than Obiang.

We cannot press and cannot cope with being closed down.

Sullivan needs to get Bilic a right back / right wing back, a top quality defensive midfielder alongside Obiang (not Kouyate) and another striker. But not loans or makeshift cover, proper quality. Hence it probably wont happen as Sulli and Gold do not want to risk any of their personal wealth and even with their millions are shopping in the "bargain basement".

Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
This roving, floating attacking role certainly hasn't worked out with Lanzini. And there's no need to do it as he can play a more disciplined position and make an impact. The 3-4-3 formation just doesn't suit him - I think that's the issue, not the player's form.

Fifth Column 1:14 Sun Dec 18
Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
I agree. If we're going to play Carroll I'd pick Ayew to start over Lanzini.

Give them ayew back and take siggurdson

Sir Alf 12:46 Sun Dec 18
Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
Neither are good enough in that midfield currently. Nordtveit might have to be tried next alongside Obiang and push Noble further forward? That is how desperate it has become.

Kouyate is needed at the back currently but if we ever get a proper RB or right wing back (Antonio is neither) Kouyate can come back into midfield. But he is IMO not the long term answer either in there as he is not technically good enough (passing and control) and does not work hard enough over 90 mins when we are not in possession. But he would improve us in there probably. Hard not to.

Lanzini has literally done fuck all this season, bottled out of two tackles yesterday just the type of player you don't need in our situation

Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
Should never play for west ham again after just tossing off his responsibility to the team, anyone notice and carroll covering him while the lazy cunt stood watching. That's about 5 times in the hour or so he has played that he has sold his teammates down the river.

Eerie Descent 11:13 Sun Dec 18
Re: Ayew should replace Lanzini in the team.
Ayew is a money grabbing, lazy cunt.

No problem with him chasing money, that's his prerogative, but you don't sign players who have that as their one and only priority, as you run the risk of what we now have on our hands, someone who can't be bothered when we need them most.

Lanzini is playing poor, but I'd have him in over Ayew every day of the week.
